I have been teaching Shito-Ryu Karate in Yatton for nearly 20 years. This is one of the major traditional styles that have developed from Okinawa, via Japan and offers the student a comprehensive and progressive system of learning.
We are part of Somerset Budukai and the British Shito-Ryu Karate Association and thus benefit from a long established organisation and senior expertise. This ensures a reliable and continuous source of syllabus, technique and grading, which will provide the student with the foundation to progress to black belt.
Kenbudo, the study of Japanese swordsmanship, is also taught at
Somerset Budukai in conjunction with Shito-Ryu Karate.
