Yeo Valley Lions

Yeo Valley Lions Club have been serving the communities of Yatton and the surrounding areas since 1968.

We raise funds throughout the year, but our major events relate to accompanying Father Christmas round Yatton and the villages in the build up to Christmas and our Beer Festival, which we hold annually at the start of the July.  The vast bulk of the monies we raise are spent locally on those less fortunate then us and who need a helping hand - the elderly, the ill, those suffering from physical and/or mental disabilities, the young and those who are living in straightened circumstances.

We also hold an annual Golf Day at Tall Pines Golf Club, with competitors coming from all points of the compass - as far afield as Kent and the North West - and the funds raised from this highly popular day out benefit a local or national charity with a local presence.

Our yellow minibus is a familiar sight in and around our patch, with regular shopping trips for the elderly, various youth groups and the like.

Our football game and coconut shy are popular side shows at various shows and events over the summer months.
